Introduction

This volume aims to establish the bibliography of Hippocratic research carried out from 1983 until 2016. To this end it follows two previously published bibliographies of Hippocratic research, the First by Gilles Moleney and Raymond Savoie (Five Hundred Years of Hippocratic Bibliography , 1473-1982 , Quebec,Editions du Sphinx , 1982 ) and the second by Bruni Celli (Bibliografia Hipoocrática,Caracas, Ediciones del Rectorado Universidad Central de Venezuela , 1984). The studies are arranged by year of publication , and each year´s studies are further arranged in alphabetical order by the authors´names. The volume concludes with an author index, a thematic index and a list of abbreviations. We hope that this work will be a useful tool for any specialist of the Hippocratic Collection but also for all those who are interested in ancient Greek medicine.
